Mudcloth is woven in Mali West Africa, then decorated with color stained mud to make beautiful fabrics such as this. I named it starburst mudcloth bc of the splash of bright turquoise .  It made a beautiful handbag, detailed with large turquoise buttons and burnt orange lining accenting the burst colors in the fabric; middle button has velcro beneath for closure.  Highlighted with black lightweight crushed velvet fringe , a zipper closure beneath the flap over and a black rope strap for crossbody carrying.
